I'm sorry but I have to give up on this one. It's bugging the hell out of me. I did however make it to page 102 before I couldn't take it anymore. The story started out promising and the characters kinda neat. However I think her proofreader must have just pushed this one through because the leading man's name keeps changing from Justin to Julian on an almost page by page basis. Words are forgotten entirely in some sentences so that you have a 'huh?' moment and have to read that part before realizing 'Yep! It's really not there!' And the death that happens in the first part was very undisturbing. I'm usually bother if a main character dies in a book. It may not move me to tears but I expect to feel something. This one was just like 'Bang! Dead. Okay, moving on...' The only one who really feels it is the hero and even then he doesn't exactly jump to the logical conclusion, namely 'Hey! I'm a vampire who can make other vampires! Why don't I try that?'So I apologize but 100 pages of Justin/Julian and Stella were enough for me. I give up. Maybe the book becomes amazing later on but I think I'll just get the summary from some else.
