Review
Reading almost like a parable, A Petition to Magic is a short story about a wizard with a guilty secret and a new Queen struggling to trust her instincts. It is a simply crafted but well written tale in which good overcomes evil, and it will certainly keep readers intrigued until the end. Readers will no doubt love to hate the misogynist antagonist, Marcus, and will be glad to see Queen Celeste use her powers for good and not evil while she learns to trust herself as much as she trusts her wizard friend.
