Parent and Former Elementary School Librarian. I purchased this for my little one who really likes mysteries and solving puzzles. This book invites the reader to take part in solving mysteries every step of the way, which helps draw readers in. My child enjoyed helping solve the mystery and surprised even me with the ability to make inferences and notice things that even I wouldn’t notice. We read this together at bedtime so we were able to do a small chapter or two each night which worked out perfectly. this would also be perfect for a reluctant reader because the small chapters are engaging and easily digestible.This is a must have especially for libraries, readers who like adventure and action, and reluctant readers with short attention spans. The artwork is incredibly appealing and engaging and book is completely chocked full of glossy Illustrations. we really enjoyed the plot as it was full of action, adventure, mystery, and drama!!! If I was still currently speaking at conferences for my topreviewed books for kids this would be on my must purchase list!!We’ve already started on the second book in the series and are looking forward to many more adventures with Timmi and his friends.
