I have always loved Boy George since his Culture Club days. I have seen Dinah O'Dowd on interviews with her son and she is such a lovely person and she always has her children's backs. She is a mother that we should all have and we would not have any problems in the world. She was a mother when her children were young and a dear friend for all them when they grew up. The book is sometimes hard to read because you just want to scream at her to leave her abusive husband and on the flip side of that coin you understand where she is was coming from and how hard her life was then with very small children. I know even now it is very hard for women to just leave and this was fifty years ago. I wished she would have kept writing about her life after her husband died. She ended her life storey at that point . She has lived so much more life after that I hope she writes a second book.I started reading the book and could not put it down until I finished it. It made you cry, laugh and the want to call her for a cup of tea and be her best friend. You Inspire alot of people Dinah and I waiting for your next book ! Great book !!!
