This is the first of Goble's Iktomi books that I've read, but I'll be on the lookout for others. Until I'm more familiar with the story, I'll stick to the main story line and the kids and I can study the pictures together. We usually make comments as we read, so this story fits nicely with our reading style.Iktomi is a great example of a poor decision maker, which gives the reader an opportunity to talk about decision making -- what's the problem, what are some options for dealing with the problem, and what are the possible consequences of the options. (Not using these words, however.)
